My Software has Expired / Corrupted

Whenever you run the RegalPoker.com software, it will automatically check for any upgrades. If there is a new version of the software available, or if you are running the program for the first time, an upgrade will be required. Once the upgrade is complete, you will be directed to our servers. If any error occurs, it may be due to the software having been interrupted before the automatic upgrade is complete. Make sure that the software is always allowed to complete its upgrade, and you will prevent this type of error from occurring.

Alternatively, the error may be due to the use of firewalls or virus protection programs that are interfering with the upgrade process. For this reason, we recommend that you disable these security programs or allow act.exe TCP/IP access on port 8085, and action.exe HTTP access on port 80.

If you continue to receive the same error message after the above recommendations have been implemented, you will need to re-download the RegalPoker.com software. Click here to begin the download, and ensure that the software upgrade process is allowed to run without interruptions.

Why is my Payout still pending?

When your payout has been flagged as ‘Pending’, it means that it is currently being viewed by the payout department, making sure all your deposit information is correct an and that if you used a credit card your credit card authorization form is correct and in place.

 Although we understand your concern and your need for answers, please remain patient. If your payout has been pending for more than 10 business days, please e-mail Customer Support at security@RegalPoker.com and we look into the transaction for you. 

When will I receive my winnings?

This will depend on your chosen withdrawal method. Generally it takes approximately 24-48 hours for e-wallet withdrawals to be processed, and up to 7 weeks for bank drafts. You will find specific time frames and more detailed information on this in our Withdrawal section.

Which deposit methods do you offer?

RegalPoker.com accepts several Credit Card options deposits directly through our website as well as Cash deposits using person to person deposits. Please visit our Deposit section for more detailed information on each deposit mechanism available.

Do you charge players to sit at the real money tables?

No, RegalPoker.com does not charge players directly to sit at real money tables. Instead, we charge a small percentage of rake for every hand played. The rake is always a very small amount, and is capped. Our standard rake is 5%, with a general cap of $3. Please note that rake is not charged on tournament hands.

Cannot Deposit funds via credit card

Unfortunately, some banks may view RegalPoker.com transactions as a ‘gaming purchase’ and may have policies against approving such transactions. You may need to contact your issuing bank regarding this matter. Alternatively, you may find it easier to make deposits via an e-wallet account. Do you request any documentation from me to verify my deposit?

If you choose to make a deposit via credit card directly through the RegalPoker.com site, we will require you to complete a Security Form in order to verify your account information. Please e-mail the form to our Operations Department at support@RegalPoker.com, or fax it to us toll-free at XXXXXX.

Is it safe to use my credit card at RegalPoker?

At RegalPoker.com, we not only assure you of your safety, we guarantee it. All of your credit card information and purchase history is securely encrypted with a 128-bit SSL encryption algorithm, ensuring that your transactions are always stringently protected against theft and fraud.

What are “All-ins” and how do they work?

An ‘All-in’ is a free pass that gives you special privileges should you become disconnected from the games software at any time. You will be issued with two All-ins during your game time. 

What to do in case of a freeze out?

Freeze-outs are very rare, but they can still occur. If your computer freezes while you are playing a tournament, wait for five minutes while the system gathers all the information needed to recover the connection with all of the players. If after five minutes your computer is still frozen, please e-mail our Customer Support team at support@RegalPoker.com for assistance.

Cards are moving at a very slow rate

Check the ‘Animation Refresh Rate’ from within the ‘Options’ menu. If you have selected a refresh rate of ‘Medium’ as your default, you will need to select a higher rate in order to speed up the movement of the cards.

Why do I sometimes experience a slow/interrupted connection?

There are many variables that can contribute to a slow connection, such as your location, Internet traffic, background downloads and more. To ensure smooth play, try to keep your downloads to a minimum while your games software is open.

Your Internet connection is rated in the following order: Good>Fair>Poor>None. This information is provided within the game window of your software, in the lower left-hand corner. If you are disconnected while playing in a game, you will have the entire duration of the game to reconnect and return to it.

Keep in mind that fast connections (such as DSL or Cable) are ideal when using the games software. These will prevent you from being disconnected regularly.

What can I do to stop players who are chip-dumping?

Chip-dumping occurs when one player (usually with a sizeable bankroll) decides to ‘help’ another player by deliberately losing a hand. RegalPoker.com does not take chip dumping lightly. Should you suspect or witness any instances of chip-dumping, please e-mail our Customer Support team immediately at support@RegalPoker.com.

Do any of your deposit methods charge a fee to make a deposit?

RegalPoker.com for Credit Card deposits won’t charge you a cent for using any of our accepted deposit mechanisms. We want you playing, not paying!

Although your card-issuing bank may mistakenly recognize your deposit by credit card as a cash advance. If this occurs, your card-issuing bank may incorrectly charge an extra fee associated with a cash advance. If you are charged an extra fee, please contact your card-issuing bank to explain that the transaction with RegalPoker that appears on your credit card statement is not a cash advance but an Internet transaction.

For Western Union and Money Gram you can be charged a % of your total amount in the shop, but we are able to cover the fees for deposits higher than $250.

How do I cash in my winnings?

To request a payout, simply click on the ‘Cashier’ menu option from within the games lobby. Click on ‘Go to Cashier’, and then select the ‘Request a Payout’ option.  You will be able to enter your chosen withdrawal amount and mechanism from within the ‘Request a Payout’ window.

Two players are colluding at the table

Collusion is the act of one player controlling other players at a table, or discussion between players as to their hands. RegalPoker.com has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to collusion between players. Should you suspect or witness any instances of colluding, please e-mail our Customer Support team immediately at support@RegalPoker.com.

Someone is swearing constantly at the table

RegalPoker.com employs language filters that remove unacceptable words from the text of a player’s chat. We work very hard to maintain a family environment at the tables, however the endless variations of swearing available to users makes it almost impossible to control language abuse. If any player is swearing profusely, we ask that you please make a report immediately via our Live Help feature. Alternatively, e-mail us at support@RegalPoker.com and our Customer Support team will take action.

I am being abused at the tables! What can I do?

Firstly, please accept our apologies for being on the receiving end of such abuse. We are dedicated to making the RegalPoker.com experience as welcoming and entertaining as possible, but unfortunately, not all of our players share that same commitment. Rest assured that we do not condone such behavior in any way.

RegalPoker.com defines abuse as the use of swearing and racial slurs, as well as behavior such as harassment, provoking, revealing private or personal information about a user, constant pestering and threats. If you are subjected to such behavior at any time, we ask that you please report both it and the offending player immediately via our Live Help feature. Alternatively, e-mail us at support@RegalPoker.com and our Customer Support team will take action. The sooner we can eradicate such behavior from our gaming tables, the better.

How can I check the outcome of a hand?

RegalPoker.com keeps a record of all real money game hand details. To check your play history, go to the ‘Options’ menu in the games lobby, and click on the ‘Reports’ button. Your default Internet browser will open, allowing you to check the outcomes of all the real money game hands you have played.

I don’t use Microsoft Windows. Can I still play?

RegalPoker.com software runs on Microsoft© Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista operating systems and Mac OSX.

I just bought some chips with my credit card. How long before I receive them?

Transactions made via credit card or e-wallet will result in chips being automatically added to your account. If you do not immediately receive your chips after purchasing them, an error has occurred with your transaction. Simply try to purchase your chips again, or alternatively e-mail our Customer Support team at support@RegalPoker.com, and we will investigate the matter further.

Can I cash out my chips while I’m at a table?

Unfortunately not. In order to cash out your chips, you must leave the table you are playing at before visiting the Cashier.

Are there requirements in order to cash out my winnings?

Our Operations Department may very well need you to submit various supporting documents before processing your payout. This is to ensure the safety of your funds and your account at all times. Documents that may be needed include a credit card or bank statement, a copy of both sides of the credit card used to make your deposits, a picture ID and/or a utility bill. Please make sure that you have these documents at hand when requesting a payout in order to facilitate the process and receive your payout as soon as possible.

How do I bet a precise amount?

The slider will increase and decrease in increments, depending on the amount of money you have. To bet a more precise amount, however, simply use the number pad on your keyboard to type your bet amount in the text field above the slider.

How do I check my hand statistics when I am on the table?

You can check your hand statistics at any time during play by clicking on the ‘View Statistics’ button at the top of the table. Clicking this will open a small window displaying the following statistics:

Flop percentage from the small blind, big blind, on the button and other positions

Number of pots won

Statistics of hands folded

How do I use the chat?

Players come to RegalPoker.com for more than the game – they come for the environment as well. The chat function is an integral part of that environment, and helps to create a friendly atmosphere amongst a community of like-minded players. Actual chat is displayed in light blue, hand information is displayed in yellow and white represents general information. We encourage you to use the chat function to enhance your entertainment experience and boost your relationships with fellow players.

I have finished installing the software. How do I start playing?

Once you have completed the installation process, the software will automatically upgrade to its most recent version. This process will take place immediately upon completion of the installation. Please make sure that you do not halt this upgrade process at any time, as doing so will result in a corruption of the software, requiring you to uninstall the program and then reinstall it from the beginning. Once the software has upgraded, you will automatically be taken to the RegalPoker.com games lobby, where you will be able to view the list of available games.

How can I change my password?

If you need to change your password, you will be able to do so from within the games lobby by clicking on ‘Options’, and then ‘Change Personal Information’. The default web browser will then open, prompting you to enter your existing password and the new password you wish to change it to.

How can I change my account Sign in Name?

Unfortunately, RegalPoker.com does not have the functionality to allow you to change your username once you have registered it. If there are extreme circumstances that necessitate a change in username, such as having mistakenly used your real name, or being subject to harassment by other players, please send an e-mail to support@RegalPoker.com, and we will consider your request.

I have registered an account but am unable to login.

Your failure to login could be due to any number of reasons. Firstly, check that you are entering your password correctly. All RegalPoker.com passwords are case sensitive, meaning that if you originally registered your password with capital letters, you must re-enter it with the exact same combination of upper case and lower case letters. Similarly, make sure that your Caps Lock button is off, as you could be mistakenly entering your password in upper case letters.

Once you are sure that you are entering your password correctly, check your username. Make sure that you are entering the exact same username you provided upon registration.

If you are certain that you are entering your username and password correctly, and are still experiencing difficulty logging in, please click on the Live Help button on any web page to be connected to a Customer Support agent. Alternatively, send an email to support@RegalPoker.com alerting us to the problem, and we will ensure that it is resolved as soon as possible.

If I don’t want to receive spam, can I enter a fake e-mail address?

It is crucial that the information you supply when registering an account is completely accurate – this will enable us to provide you with service levels of the highest standard. One of the most efficient ways for RegalPoker.com to communicate with its player base is via email, therefore it is vital that you enter your e-mail address correctly during the registration process. If you are concerned about the confidentiality of your personal details, please consult our Privacies Policy for more information regarding our security measures.

How do I start playing at RegalPoker?

To start playing at RegalPoker.com, you will first need to download the free software. You can do so by clicking here, or by clicking on any of the download buttons that appear throughout the RegalPoker.com website.

Once the download process has begun, you will be prompted to either ‘Save’ or ‘Open’ the program. If you choose to ‘Save’ it, we recommend that you save the program to your desktop for easy access. You will then need to open the program in order to install it once the download process is completed. If you choose to ‘Open’ it, however, the installation process will immediately begin upon completion of the download.

I have registered for my account but I cannot login.

There could be a number of reasons why you cannot login. The first one is entering your password incorrectly; passwords are case sensitive, which means that if you originally entered your password with capital letters, you must re-enter it exactly how you typed it the first time. The second reason is entering an incorrect user name. Please make sure that you are using the exact same user name you provided when you registered. If you are still having trouble logging in after making sure the previous reasons do not apply, please click on the Live Help button, and you will be immediately connected to a Customer Support Representative, or send an email to support@RegalPoker.com

Can I create an account on this computer for my family?

Unfortunately RegalPoker only allows one account per household.If you want more than one real money account from the same household, please contact customer services.

What is the Buddy List? How does it work?

In the real world if you’re having a great time, you want to share it with your friends – so why should the virtual world be any different? That’s why we’ve created the Buddy List at RegalPoker.com – a way of communicating with chosen players and making them a regular part of your poker experience. To access your Buddy List, click on the menu within the games lobby, and select ‘Buddy List’. From there, you will be able to add (or remove) buddies, join their tables, and make the most out of your RegalPoker.com experience every time you logon.

Can I play more than one table?

If you’ve got the skills, who’s to say no? RegalPoker.com will allow you to play at four tables at the same time. The perfect way to show everyone what you’re made of!

What do I do if the table I have chosen has no available seats?

If your chosen table is full and you’re willing to wait a few minutes, simply join the waiting list. Click the ‘Join Waiting List’ button, and you’ll automatically be entered into the queue for that table. Once your turn comes, you will be notified that a seat is available. You will then have 60 seconds to sit down, or your seat will be given to the person next in line.

How do I leave the table without losing all the money I have won?

If you decide to leave the table at any time, your money will automatically be returned to your account. Please note, however, that should you decide to leave in the middle of a hand, you will forfeit whatever money you have on the table at the time.

How do I bring more money to the table?

You can choose to bring more money to the table at any time, simply by clicking on the ‘$’ button and typing your chosen amount. You will be able to access this feature from both play money and real money games, whenever the rules of the game allow money refills.

How do I find instructions to play the game when at a table?

If you need helping playing a game at any time, simply click on the ‘?’ button at the bottom left-hand corner of the table. You will then be directed to a page with game rules and details, giving you all the help you need, whenever you need it.

I have run out of playing money! How do I get more?

If you are playing for free and have less than $100 in your account, simply log out of your account and back in again, and your balance will automatically reset to $1,000.

Where can I play for free before I begin playing for real money?

Absolutely! We wouldn’t want you to start playing for real before being completely comfortable with the game first. That’s why we automatically credit you with $1,000 in play money the first time you login to RegalPoker.com. Simply click on the ‘Go To Play Money’ button in the lobby screen, select a game and table type from the available lists, and play fun, free poker anytime you like.

How do I sit down at a table?

To sit down at a RegalPoker.com table, simply follow these easy steps:

    Login to RegalPoker.com.

    Choose between Go To Real Money and Go To Play Money.

    Select the game you wish to play (Texas Hold’em, Omaha, etc.).

    Select the type of game you wish to play (Limit, No-Limit or Tournament).

    Find the table stakes you wish to play at ($1/$2, $25 N/L, etc.).

    Click the ‘Join Table’ button to open the table window.

 

    Find an empty seat, and click on it to join the table).

What do I do if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password, simply enter your username when logging into the RegalPoker.com software, and click the ‘Help’ button. A window will then pop up prompting you to enter your e-mail address. Once you click ‘submit’, a temporary password will be sent to the e-mail address you provided upon registration. Use this password to login into the poker software, and make sure to reset your password immediately in order to maintain the integrity of your account information.

Who can play at RegalPoker?

RegalPoker.com software is free and available to all users worldwide over the age of 18 years.

I just cashed in my winnings. How long will it take to receive the funds?

This will depend on your chosen withdrawal method. Generally it takes from 7 to 10 business days.

The game window is too big for my screen, and/or the colors do not look right?

In order for RegalPoker.com to look its best on your computer, you will need to have your screen resolution set to 1024×768 or higher, with at least 16-bit colors selected. If you wish to adjust your monitor:

Right-click on your desktop with your mouse and select ‘Properties’ from the pop-up menu.

Select ‘Settings’ from the top tabs.

You will then be able to set and adjust both the screen resolution and the number of colors to the optimum RegalPoker.com settings.

I have a firewall and I seem to be unable to connect to RegalPoker?

If you are behind a firewall and are able to view web pages, there should be no problem connecting to RegalPoker.com. If, however, you are using a Non-NAT firewall that is blocking outgoing connections, you will need to open outgoing TCP/IP port 8085.

What happens if I am late to my table?

We expect players to take their seat before the tournament starts. A pop-up is sent to ask you to take your seat at least 2 minutes before the game commences. In the event of you arriving late you will not be able to participate in the game. The blinds will be played by the system and 10 hands will be the number of hands allowed to be timed out before getting busted out of the table for inactivity.
